Ryan, I'd just like to thank you for posting these videos. I live in Sweden but have always been interesed in the Irish music. Have had my tin whistle for almost ten years, but not until now I have felt that it was possible to actually learn how to play it properly. I'm practising every night (probably to my neighbours' big horror..haha)

Keep ut the good..no...excellent work!

Kind regards,
Diana

Hi Ryan,
I just saw the Pogues with a friend over the weekend and we were obsessing about how Spider Stacy picked up the tin whistle in order to be in the band. He sent me this link to your page, and I've been amazed by your mad t/w skillz. Imagine my surprise when I found out that you're studying at Fordham! That's really awesome. I'm at Rose Hill getting my masters in IPED. I've bought a few whistles before but never had the interest long enough to stick with it. If you're ever up for lessons or a jam session, hit it up.
Best,
Pat
